New Aquila "Red" Low G string

Wednesday, November 14, 2012 12:03:36 PM Pacific/Honolulu

Here are a couple pictures of our Kanilea K-1TE-PPU ukulele with an Aquila Red Low G installed. These strings are made of nylon infused with copper (hence the red hue). This process helps the string to maintain the right tension for a Low G string without needing to be wound with metal. The result is a more natural and smooth sounding string. Being that the copper is actually a part of the strings' makeup, the Aquila Red Low G strings require a little more care when installing than standard nylon strings but the sound of these strings are BEAUTIFUL! Pick a few of these up today and hear it for yourself!
